I chose five basic exercises (Squats, Deadlifts, Incline Bench, Chin-ups & Dips) with the intention on progressing based upon the factors of the day and also with the hopes of pushing my strength levels upward.
While I think this type of training is very intuitive, I did begin to see some patterns develop over the course of the continuous month of training these exercises.
Much like a mail carrier or waiter at a busy restaurant will develop impressive calves (while also burning a ton of calories) this type of daily training can deliver strength/muscle gains in a similar way.
The sheer amount of “practicing” the movement(s) forces a signal to the brain that more strength/muscle is needed in a very specific fashion/location.
This revelation suggests that if ultimate aesthetics are an intention, then we could accentuate key exercises to induce new achievements in strength and ultimately muscle gain (in all the right places.)
Stay tuned as I intend on experimenting and further developing this concept.
