It seems remarkably unbelievable that the holidays are already upon us.
I have always heard the older you get the faster time seems to go and I have to say that notion is true. Every so often I will have a thought or memory about what seems like a recent occurrence and then I realize “Wow! that was a year ago!” As of this writing 2016 has a mere 35 days to go, and believe me they will fly by and we will be entering yet another brand spanking new year.
I’m a believer in the power of simple, straightforward, manageable action to obtain goals.
When it comes to health and fitness goals, keeping on track by completing a few simple tasks each day can go a long way (especially when you are first starting out.)
Each year gyms, health clubs, and training centers see a huge influx right after the holidays end and the new year begins.
If you need to get in shape or want to take your health and fitness to the next level, now is the time to get on track.
I know it can be difficult with the plethora of awesome food and drink available, and it is easy to say “I’ll start my diet next week,” or “I’ll sign up at the gym after the holidays,” but if you use this last month or so wisely, you will have an excellent head start on realizing your goals.
Next time, I will continue with this subject and also post a simple but great tool that you can use over the holidays to keep yourself on track!
