Woke at 6:02.
Had my usual, water, BCAA’s and some of the most bitter black coffee on the planet.—this not only wakes me up with the early morning caffeine injection into my veins, but also gives me a bit of an edgy attitude.
This isn’t your typical, palatable, corporate tasty treat. This is harsh, bitter and tastes worse as it cools. I love it!
I start my training at 6:58.
First up is dumbbell lunges, altered with lying leg curls, light weight, high, reps going for a hypertrophic pump.
Then I move to a focused strength movement.
Two progressive sets and then a max-effort, giving all I can, but yet keeping control, keeping form, keeping range of motion.
Finally, it is time to test the starch in my spine with timed farmers walks.
I do one set that spans three minutes. I’m pushing my limits, at least for this day, but know in my heart of hearts, I will bring more energy, more strength, more tenacity next session.
