Despite consuming 3543 calories yesterday, my BW dipped down 1.5 pounds. Going forward, I’m going to have to push my calories around the 4K range due to activity. Lots of miles put in at my day job yesterday.
Squats 45×10 135×10,10,10,10
Romainian Deads/with a shrug at the top 65×10,10,10
C. Raises BW+25×12,12,12
Close-Stance Squats 45×20
Leg Curls 50×7,7
C. Raises BWx25,25
Hanging Knee-ups BWx25
Today again, lots of miles walked at pace at my daytime job.
Also, wanted to note that what might seem to be lighter loads to the reader, keep in mind you can make a light weight feel extremely heavy through full-range of motion, mindful focus on the muscle complex involved and slowing down the actual movement itself.
For instance, those calf raises above with weight were 5-8 seconds per rep, equally all sorts of time under tension.
The sky’s the limit in which you can use techniques like this, especially in the pursuit of aesthetics.
