To train or not to train while sick?
That is the question.
After a hard-fought day at work and otherwise, I woke up with congestion and much to my chagrin down two pounds even with eating nearly 1000k/cal above maintenance level.
I think it can’t be emphasized enough of how a flu can really wreak havoc on your entire biology.
I absolutely never get sick and this cold/virus is very minor compared to the flu of a few weeks back, but if you are experiencing a similar reality, I think patience is definitely required before stressing the body too much (along with making sure you are getting great nutrition and adequate sleep and rest.)
So, I decided to forgo the training today.
