The Icing On The Cake
Performed with the correct mix of frequency, volume, intensity, and progression (along with proper nutrition), I believe that with 5 basic movements you can build an outstanding physique that is also real-world strong and functional.
These 5 movements can vary slightly based upon the individual, their goals, work capacity, injuries etc, but 5 movements in my opinion can get the majority of the functional/aesthetically motivated trainees huge results.
To really enhance the end result and to deliver even more development in both strength & aesthetics we can infuse several options that will require you to enact different energy systems (unfortunately a component that a lot of programs leave out.)
