Another full throttle day ahead, but I scheduled about 45 minutes to get some upper body work in. Ring dips were the focus.

Thoughts: I left all conventional social media early this past year for a plethora of reasons, may return some day, but may not.
Anyway, I remember a common trend in most of the fitness groups on Facebook (which contain some of the meanest spirited, antagonistic, herd-mentalitied, phony people on the planet) would be to make fun of videos of people doing weird exercises (like barbell squats while balancing upon a bosu ball, or something similar.)
“Hey Jim! Look at this fool, doing concentration curls while hanging upside down!”
And then of course the comments would follow, “what a dumbass!” etc.
I never liked that, and in fact have more respect for the “fools” that were creative enough to try different things, than the non-creative that have no original thoughts, nor the ability, or courage to go a different path.
If I were to post a video of the training I did today (weighted ring dips) in most social media groups, or forums, I would certainly be lambasted about how I’m destined for injury, going to cripple myself, etc. Nope.
