Continuing to focus on just the APEX lifts this week, I had dips scheduled today. I warmed up with a couple of light dumbbell swings, and got to work.
Dips BW+7.5×27, BW+22.5×20, BW+37.5×15,15, BW+62.5×10, BW+72.5×7, BW+92.5×5,5, BW+100×3, BW+105×2,2, BW+120×1,1
There are some different dynamics with this style of training for sure. The anticipation of certain sets is not always the reality.
For instance, the first set (BW+7.5) of 27 reps, I sort of winced thinking that it was going to be a tough set, but it actually was fairly simple.
The 2 sets of 5, with BW+92.5, were way tougher than I thought would be.
Nutrition: Regular eating much of the day, then a refeed of pizza.
