After some time on this programming, I was thinking that it is like no other training I have ever partaken in. It’s almost as if each session is a project or venture.
Actually, I would say it is more comparable to mountain climbing, motor-cross, a 5K race, or a boxing match, than traditional training.
I’ve thought of supplementing the concept/philosophy with conventional sets, but one, I haven’t had the extra gym time, and two, I’m starting to wonder just how much value (in comparison) mid & high rep work provide.
Physically, my strength has improved each week, and the high threshold work has resulted in hard dense muscle throughout the body. I assume that augmenting with some “pump” work would give you a bit of icing on the cake, so to speak.
Training: w/u Dumbbell Swings 15×15,15
Dips: BWx10, BW+50×5, BW+100×5, BW+117.5 For 20 singles.
Incline Bench: 45×10, 115×5, 133 For 20 singles.
