Woke to an unfortunate drop of the scale, which was expected after the last 48 hours of seemingly perpetual motion, and less than idea nutrition.
Doing this as long as I have, I kind of knew that the training session ahead was going to be performed through more so will, than anything else.
I am a believer in generally approaching strength training as a practice, with staying within real time capabilities and simply doing the planned work.
Occasions of going above and beyond, sometimes way beyond should be rare in my humble opinion, if the goal is true health, true strength, true longevity.
This was going to be a grinder.
Squats 45×5, 95×5, 115×3, 135×3, 155×3, 170×3,3,1,1,2……..
OHP 45×5, 65×5, 85×5,5,5,5,5
Deadlifts (trap bar) 134×5, 154×5, 190×5
Pleasantly surprised with everything other than the squats. They felt awkward to say the least.
I went to the shop and took care of what I had to, then in the evening decided on a counterintuitive run. 😀
